Muscat – The directorate department of criminal inquiries and investigations of Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested three people belonging to Arab nationality on charges of human trafficking against women.

“The women, who were also of Arab nationality, were deceived by being offered job opportunities in Oman. They were forced to sign cheques by the perpetrators that was used to exploit them into moral act,” ROP said in a statement.

ROP added that legal measures have been taken against the accused.
