Muscat- Muscat Municipality and OQ Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (OQ RPI) on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a new park in Al Jafnayn, Seeb, covering 5,559 sqm.

The agreement was signed at the Office of the Wali of Seeb as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between government institutions and the private sector and support community-focused projects.

The planned park will provide a recreational and healthy outdoor space for residents, with facilities designed to encourage walking, outdoor sports and recreational activities.

The project also aims to provide public spaces that support family and community activities and contribute to improving the quality of life for residents.

The initiative reflects the partners’ commitment to social responsibility and community partnership by developing recreational facilities that respond to local needs and promote active and healthy lifestyles.
