Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred the Order of Royal Commendation, 2nd Class, on eight Omani individuals in recognition of their scientific and research achievements, as well as their contribution to society. The orders were presented by Sayyid Khalid Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, when he received them in his office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Sayyid Khalid affirmed that the orders were granted by His Majesty the Sultan in appreciation of their efforts. He wished them success in their current and future endeavors in serving the homeland.
Prof Sabah Ahmed al Sulaiman, for research and innovation in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
Dr Abdullah Mohammed al Sa’adi, for research and innovation in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
Prof Khalifa Saif al Jabri, for work in the health sector.
Sheikh Suhail Salim al Mukhaini, for work in civil initiatives, social responsibility, economy, labour market and recruitment. On his behalf, the order was received by his son Sheikh Ahmed Suhail al Mukhaini.
Dr Mohammed Ali al Barwani, for work in the fields of labour market, recruitment and economy.
Saleh Mohammed al Shanfari, for work in the fields of environment and natural resources (food security).
Hareb Abdullah al Kitani, for work in the fields of environment and natural resources (liquefied gas).
Hunaina Sultan al Mughairy, for work in the field of administrative and institutional development (diplomatic work).
