H E Khalid bin Hilal al Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis A’Shura, has received a message from Nurlan Nigmatulin, Chairman of the House of Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, to participate in the 4th Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments (MSEAP) in Kazakhstan.

The message was delivered to H E Ma’awali by H E Mohammed Ali Najmuddin, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the sultanate. 

During the meeting, H E Ma’awali welcomed the guest, pointing to the strong bilateral relations between the countries, noting the need to strengthen cooperation, especially in the legislative and supervisory fields, exchange of views and unifying visions in international forums among members of elected councils.

He also briefed the guest on the role of Majlis A’Shura in following up many issues related to the legislative aspects and supporting them at the level of Arab and international councils.

The Kazakh Ambassador stressed the importance of the role of Majlis A’Shura in various parliamentary aspects. He also stressed the importance of increasing coordination and cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests. The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed al Nadabi, secretary general of Majlis A’Shura.
