An official talks session was held at the Ministry of Defence in Mu’askar Bait al Falaj between H E Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, and Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Deputy Defence Minister of Saudi Arabia, who is currently visiting the sultanate.  

The two sides reviewed the existing relations and discussed fields of the existing cooperation. They also exchanged viewpoints on several matters of common concern to serve the interests of both countries.  

The talks session was also attended by Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), Maj Gen Mattar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), the Saudi Ambassador to the sultanate and the Military Attaché at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Muscat.  

Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and his accompanying delegation on arriving in the sultanate, on Monday, were received upon arrival at the Muscat International Airport by H E Sayyid Badr, SAF Chief of Staff, RAO Commander, Saudi’s Ambassador to the sultanate and the Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Muscat.
