Muscat – The Ministry of Education (MoE) will announce the results of the General Education Diploma and equivalent examinations for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year on Thursday.

H E Dr Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibani, Minister of Education, has approved the overall result indicators and extended her congratulations to students and their families on their achievement.

A total of 54,856 students sat for the General Education Diploma examinations this year, with an overall pass rate of 81.15 per cent. The General Education Diploma for Private Schools (bilingual) posted a higher pass rate of 92.73 per cent, while the General Education and Islamic Studies Diploma achieved a 100 per cent pass rate.

The General Education Diploma (Special Education) recorded a pass rate of 89.13 per cent. Meanwhile, the General Vocational and Technical Education Diploma registered a pass rate of 81.5 per cent.

Results will be available from 5pm on Thursday, February 12, via SMS through telecom service providers. Students can obtain their results by sending their seat number to 90200.
