Muscat – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received copies of the credentials of two newly appointed ambassadors to the Sultanate.

The Minister received the credentials of Wijesinghe Arachchige Kapila Sanjeewa De Alwis, the Ambassador-designate of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, followed by Noralyn Jubaira Baja, the Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Philippines.

During the meetings, Sayyid Badr welcomed the incoming diplomats, expressing his sincere wishes for their success in their new roles. He underscored Oman’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, noting his hopes for further progress and growth in the Sultanate’s relations with both Sri Lanka and the Philippines. The ceremonies were attended by Ambassador Najib bin Yahya al Balushi, Head of the Protocols Department, along with several senior officials from the Foreign Ministry.
