Doha, Qatar – FIFA Arab Cup 2025 is scheduled to commence in Doha on Monday, following a preparatory press conference held by the organising committee.

The tournament will officially open with a fixture between host nation Qatar and Palestine at the Al Bayt Stadium. This will be preceded by the opening match of the group stage, which sees Tunisia take on Syria.

Organisers confirmed significant public interest, revealing that over 700,000 tickets have already been sold, with a final batch due to be released imminently. In a boost for supporters, Doha Metro travel will be complimentary for all match ticket holders, enhancing the fan experience with easy access to the six tournament stadiums.

The committee further affirmed that media logistics and security arrangements are fully prepared to ensure a safe and successful event, which is set to culminate with the final match on December 18.
