Muscat – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a moderate dust storm warning effective from 11:30 a.m. on November 5, 2025, until 1:00 p.m. on November 6, 2025. The warning covers coastal areas and neighboring regions, where visibility and air quality are expected to deteriorate.

According to the CAA, the dust storm may cause reduced horizontal visibility ranging between 500 and 1,000 meters, posing health risks due to suspended dust particles and possible traffic disruptions in affected areas.

Authorities have urged the public, especially individuals with respiratory or heart conditions, to limit outdoor exposure and wear protective face masks when venturing outside. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and maintain safe distances due to poor visibility conditions.

The CAA continues to monitor the situation and will issue further updates if necessary.
