Muscat – Oman will participate in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London from November 4 to 6, as part of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s position as a leading global travel destination.

The annual event, one of the most important in the international tourism calendar, will bring together representatives from more than 185 countries and attract around 50,000 visitors from across the travel industry.

Oman’s participation aims to promote its diverse tourism offerings, which include natural landscapes, rich heritage, and distinctive cultural experiences. The ministry also seeks to expand international partnerships and sign agreements that will support the growth of the tourism sector.

The Omani pavilion will feature key national entities such as Omran Group, Oman Air, Oman Airports, the National Travel Operator, the Oman Across Ages Museum, the National Museum, and the Royal Opera House Muscat. They will be joined by 29 tourism establishments, including hotels, travel agencies, and tour operators.

During the exhibition, the ministry will highlight new projects and initiatives in cultural, adventure, and eco-tourism, showcasing Oman’s growing appeal to a global audience. The Omani pavilion has been designed to reflect the diversity of the country’s tourism products and to align with emerging global tourism trends.

By taking part in WTM, Oman aims to attract high-quality investments, foster cooperation with international tourism organisations, and enhance the competitiveness of the national tourism sector, which plays a key role in diversifying the economy and increasing its contribution to GDP.

WTM London serves as a global platform for networking, exploring new opportunities, and discussing the latest developments in tourism, including digital transformation, sustainability, and future travel trends.
