Muscat – The Ministry of Labour has denied circulating messages claiming that all employees who have completed 30 years of service will be referred to mandatory retirement.

In an official statement, the ministry confirmed that the information being shared through social media platforms and messaging applications is false, stressing that no such decision has been issued.

The ministry urged all citizens and residents to verify information through official channels and to avoid spreading rumors or misinformation that could cause confusion within the community.

It further called on the public to rely only on official announcements issued through the Ministry of Labour’s verified platforms and website.
