Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. (91/2025), ratifying an agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyzstan Republic concerning mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports.

The agreement was signed in New York City on September 25, 2025, and aims to facilitate official travel and strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.

As outlined in the decree:

Article 1 ratifies the agreement in accordance with the attached official text.

Article 2 states that the decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and will come into effect from the date of its issuance.

This step reflects Oman’s continued efforts to enhance international cooperation and ease diplomatic mobility with partner nations.
