Muscat – TRANSOM has announced the appointment of Sayyid Nasr al Busaidi as Executive Director, overseeing Travel Retail, Lounge Operations, and Premium Services.

Sayyid Nasr brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in logistics, retail, and government services. As Chief Postmaster General of Oman Post, he led a bold transformation, introducing a pioneering private sector partnership model, expanding nationwide access to postal services, and ensuring strategies translated into tangible results.

Under his tenure, Oman Post gained global recognition for innovation and service excellence, ranking first in the Arab region and eighth worldwide for improvement by the Universal Postal Union. It achieved top-three global rankings in customer care for three consecutive years, maintained leading positions in express mail services, introduced last-mile delivery for the first time in Oman, and launched innovative postal and logistics products meeting the highest international standards.

At TRANSOM, Sayyid Nasr is expected to bring the same customer-focused, execution-driven approach to redefine travel retail, lounge operations, and premium services, setting new benchmarks for excellence and innovation.
