Muscat – Foreign Ministry has announced that a mutual visa exemption agreement between Oman and Russia will come into effect on July 18, 2025.

Omani citizens will be allowed to enter Russia without a visa for a period not exceeding 30 days per visit, with a total stay limit of 90 days in a calendar year.

Visa-free travel to Russia does not cover purposes such as permanent residence, study or work-related activities. The ministry urged all travellers to respect the laws and regulations of the host country and wished citizens safe and successful journeys.
