Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) reported that a tragic traffic accident resulted in two fatalities and 22 injuries, including moderate to critical cases, in Ibra.

The Emergency Management Centre of the ministry confirmed that Ibra Hospital received the injured individuals following the incident. Critical cases are being transferred to other hospitals, including Nizwa, Sur, Khoula, and University Medical City, as required.

In response to the accident, the MoH has urged all citizens and residents to exercise caution while driving, particularly on long journeys, and adhere strictly to traffic regulations issued by the competent authorities in Oman.

Authorities are continuing their efforts to address the situation and ensure the best possible care for those affected.
