Muscat – The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) conducted a medical evacuation of a citizen who was injured after falling from a mountain in the wilayat of Salalah on Tuesday.

In a statement, Ministry of Defence (MoD) said, ‘The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out, using one of its helicopters, a medical evacuation operation of a citizen who was injured after falling from a mountain in the Ashat area in the wilayat of Salalah. He was transported to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah in the Dhofar governorate to receive the necessary treatment.’

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts provided by the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens, residents and visitors, along with other government institutions.
