Muscat – The Buraimi Winter Festival and Tahayim Winter Festival in the governorates of Buraimi and South Sharqiyah respectively, have proven to be highly successful, attracting a combined total of over 450,000 visitors.

The Tahayim Winter Festival in Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, organised by South Sharqiyah governorate in collaboration with public and private entities, drew an impressive crowd of 300,000 people.

The festival featured a diverse range of activities, including children’s programmes with interactive shows, competitions, and juggling performances.

More than 159,000 people of various age groups visited the Buraimi Winter Festival.

Salim al Kaabi, Director of the Events and Awareness Department at the Buraimi Governor’s Office, provided details about the Buraimi festival, highlighting the participation of 20 small and medium enterprises, nine communities, 35 productive families, and 20 restaurant owners.

The event comprised recreational and cultural activities, daily performances, theatre events, a heritage village, and dedicated spaces for small and medium enterprises, restaurants, and productive families.
