Muscat – The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) conducted a medical evacuation of a female citizen after she had a health emergency on Wednesday.

In a statement, Ministry of Defence (MoD) said, ‘The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out, using one of its helicopters, a medical evacuation operation of a female citizen whose critical health condition required her transfer from Masirah Hospital to Sur Hospital in South Sharqiyah to receive the necessary treatment.’

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts provided by the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens, residents and visitors, along with other government institutions.
