Muscat – Thirty four expatriates were arrested for violating Labour Law, the Ministry of Labour (MoL) announced on Monday.

In a statement issued by MoL said, ‘The office of the Joint Labour Inspection Team, in cooperation with Royal Oman Police, carried out an inspection campaign at a labour gathering site in the wilayat of Jabal Akhdar in Dakhliyah , and arrested 34 expatriates in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law.’

Legal measures are being taken against them, it added.
