Muscat – The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) has announced two scholarships for Indian students for engineering and business administration studies.
Students residing in Oman having a general education diploma or its equivalent from one of the schools in the sultanate are eligible. Both the scholarships are for University of Technology and Applied Sciences for the academic year 2023/2024.
Registration and admission will be done directly through the website of the Higher Education Admission Centre (www.heac.gov.om). Students can find further information on the website under the section ‘Omani Programme for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation’.
Registration commenced on July 24 and will continue till August 17. The scholarship winners will be announced on August 24.
According to MoHERI, the Omani Programme for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation involves participation with countries that have a friendly relation with the sultanate.
The programme provides grants covering the tuition fees of undergraduate studies for qualified students who are residing in the sultanate and completed Grade 12 or Year 13 at one of the government or private schools in the country.
