Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a vehicle driver for endangering his life and the lives of others on a public road in Muscat.

A statement issued by ROP said, ‘After a video clip was circulated on social media of a vehicle driver endangering his life and the lives of others, Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a motorist in Muscat.’

‘Legal procedures are being completed against him by the Directorate General of Traffic,’ it added.

The ROP calls on everyone to adhere to traffic rules and regulations and to make all roads safe for users.
