Izki – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid a Royal Visit to the Sultan of Oman’s Armoured Division of Royal Army of Oman (RAO) in Izki. His Majesty was accompanied by Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said and Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said.

Upon His Majesty the Sultan’s arrival at Shafa Garrison, the headquarters of the Sultan of Oman’s Armoured Division, he was received by Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, RAO Commander and Commander of the Sultan of Oman’s Armoured Division, and other commanders of the armoured vehicles.

His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, heard a briefing on the division and its military capabilities. His Majesty also inspected models of tanks, armoured vehicles and military equipment of the division.

A commemorative photo was taken with His Majesty the Sultan and the personnel of the division, after which His Majesty left Shafa Garrison.
