Zanzibar City, Zanzibar – President Hussein Ali Mwinyi of Zanzibar received at his office H E Mohammed Nasser al Wahaibi, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the Foreign Ministry.

H E Wahaibi conveyed greetings of H E Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, to President Mwinyi. He also handed the president an invitation to visit Oman.

Their meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as means of enhancing cooperation to serve joint interests.

The meeting was attended by H E Saud Hilal al Shidhani, Ambassador of Oman to Tanzania, H E Said Salim al Sinawi, Consulate General of Oman in Zanzibar, the Tanzanian ambassador to Oman and other Zanzibar government officials.
