Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued Royal Decree No 48/2022 on Sunday reading as follows:

• Article 1 promotes Brigadier Mohammed bin Rab’e bin Jam’aan al Shujaibi to the rank of Major General and appoints him Assistant to the Head of the Internal Security Service for Operations.
• Article 2 promotes Brigadier Saif bin Salman bin Salim al Shukhaili to the rank of Major General and appoints him Assistant to the Head of the Internal Security Service for Administrative Support.
• Article 3 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
