Muscat – The Ministry of Information has launched four radio channels on FM frequency from the transmission station in Wilayat Makshin, Dhofar Governorate.

This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to expand radio broadcasting coverage and enhance signal reception across remote areas.

The new service specifically targets regions situated along the main highway connecting Muscat and Salalah, ensuring travellers and local residents enjoy uninterrupted clear radio broadcasts.

By expanding its infrastructure, the ministry aims to strengthen public communication, deliver timely news, and improve access to national media services throughout the country.
