Dhofar – The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has confirmed its commitment to the development and expansion of the Port of Salalah.

This announcement follows a formal disclosure by Salalah Port Services Company SAOG confirming that it will continue operating the port facility until November 1, 2028 under the existing concession agreement.

The Ministry alongside relevant authorities reaffirmed that all port operations and development projects will proceed without interruption throughout this period. Furthermore, official details regarding the new operator taking over management after the current agreement expires will be announced in due course.
