Muscat – Civil Aviation Authority has issued a weather advisory warning of cumulus cloud formations and scattered thunderstorms across parts of the country.

According to predictions derived from the Omani numerical weather model, the affected regions include areas along the Al Hajar Mountains, adjacent locations, and parts of the Musandam Governorate.

The weather system is expected to bring active downdraft winds along with the potential for flash floods and flowing wadis in several valleys. Members of the public are advised to exercise caution and avoid crossing watercourses during period of heavy rain.
