Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an Arab national in connection with a residential burglary in Bausher, in which two safes containing gold jewellery and other valuables worth an estimated RO70,000 were stolen.

The arrest was made by the Muscat Governorate Police Command, which confirmed that the suspect had violated the sanctity of a residence and stolen the two safes.

The ROP urged residents to take appropriate precautionary measures to protect their homes and belongings, including using modern surveillance and security technologies and keeping valuables and safes in secure locations.
