Muscat – Oman is participating in the Milan Pharmaceutical Industries Exhibition 2026 in Italy to attract quality investments in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, while promoting opportunities within its special economic zones, free zones, and industrial cities.

Headed by Eng. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Dheeb, Deputy Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, the delegation highlighted Oman’s strategic location, advanced logistics, and supportive business environment.

Key projects like Salalah Pharmaceutical and Medical City and the Khazaen Economic City medical cluster offer dedicated spaces for manufacturing, storage, and export.

Furthermore, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion officials noted that Omani medical exports reached RO 26.5mn in 2025, with new initiatives aimed at expanding global market presence and building international industrial partnerships.
