Muscat- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Wednesday received Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates, at Al Baraka Palace.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest across various fields, in a manner that serves the shared interests and aspirations of the two brotherly countries. They also exchanged views on the rapidly evolving developments in the region and ways to achieve de-escalation and reduce tensions through balanced diplomatic efforts, while strengthening coordination and consultation to safeguard the interests and security of states.
