Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Thursday began a visit to a number of wilayats in Al Wusta and South  Sharqiyah governorates.

The visit reflects His Majesty’s keen attention to advancing development and modernisation programmes across the Sultanate of Oman and ensuring the provision of comprehensive development and social services.

It also aims to support efforts to make the most of the natural and tourism potential of the wilayats visited, in line with the country’s development priorities.

The visit underscores His Majesty’s continued attention to development across Oman’s governorates and to strengthening services and opportunities that support local communities and sustainable development.
