Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its condemnation and strong rejection of the targeting of a pipeline in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its firm position against such attacks and the targeting of vital and civilian facilities, regardless of the motives or reasons behind them.

In a statement issued by the  Foreign  Ministry on Saturday, Oman renewed its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures aimed at protecting its territory and vital facilities and safeguarding its security and stability.

Oman stressed the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and to avoid anything that could threaten the security and stability of the region. It called on all parties to exercise wisdom and restraint in dealing with these developments, prioritise dialogue and address their underlying causes through political and diplomatic means and solutions.
