1 Sep 2026 H M Sultan Haitham pays fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA)

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid a private fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. During the visit, His Majesty held a meeting with Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS), Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the kingdom, at the latter’s residence in Jeddah.

The meeting focused on the trajectory of the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and explored avenues for advancement of these across various sectors in a manner that serves their mutual interests. The two sides also exchanged views on recent developments concerning key regional and international issues, as well as potential solutions to achieve de-escalation and peace, thereby ensuring the security of states and peoples while safeguarding their economies and interests.

Alongside His Majesty the Sultan, the meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Saeed bin Hamood Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; and Sayyid Najeeb bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Oman to Saudi Arabia.

Accompanied by a number of senior officials, Prince Mohammed bin Salman led the delegation to welcome and bid farewell to His Majesty at the Royal Pavilion of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
