Muscat – Muscat Municipality has issued a series of essential health guidelines to ensure food safety during recreational beach outings.

The advisory stresses the importance of planning food quantities appropriately and verifying whether barbecuing is permitted at the chosen location.

Citizens and visitors are instructed to store perishable items in ice-filled cooling boxes and to purchase food exclusively from clean, licensed establishments.

Furthermore, the guidelines advise against leaving food outside cooling boxes or under direct sunlight for more than two hours to prevent spoilage and protect public health.
