Muscat – Prashant Pise, Ambassador of India to Oman, recently held a meeting with female domestic service workers who are currently in distress.

This group included individuals who have left their employers’ households or have been abandoned by them. During the engagement, the Ambassador listened to their various grievances and complaints to ensure they are fully understood.

To assist these workers, the Embassy of India in Muscat provides free boarding and lodging facilities for those in need. Ambassador Pise has assured the workers that the Embassy’s Community Affairs team will take prompt action to reach an early resolution for their cases.
