Bangkok – The Embassy of Oman in Bangkok is closely monitoring a tragic fire incident that occurred in the Ladprao-Chatuchak area, Thailand.

Authorities have confirmed that, at this time, there have been no reports of Omani citizens among the victims or those injured in the blaze.

Reports indicate that the affected location is a local residential neighbourhood situated away from major tourist attractions, and the majority of those impacted are Thai nationals.

The Embassy has expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and has offered its best wishes for the speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries.
