Dhahirah – Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested nine individuals following a criminal operation involving a local citizen. The suspects utilized a social media platform to lure the victim into a trap.

Upon arrival, the group assaulted the citizen and proceeded to steal electronic devices from his vehicle. Furthermore, the perpetrators coerced the victim into paying a sum of money in exchange for the return of his stolen property.

The authorities have confirmed that the individuals are now in custody, and all necessary legal procedures are being finalised.
