North Sharqiyah – Royal Oman Police arrested two individuals of Arab nationality for their involvement in a fraud scheme targeting local businesses. The suspects reportedly orchestrated a scam by distracting employees at two commercial outlets.

During the incidents, the perpetrators handed over a high-value banknote and requested change, only to subsequently cancel the purchase transaction. The suspects managed to retrieve their high-value banknote while deliberately failing to return the change provided by the shop employees. The Royal Oman Police have confirmed that the individuals are now in custody, and formal legal proceedings against them are currently underway.
