Muscat – Anwar Gargash, adviser to the United Arab Emirates president, has said that repeated Iranian “aggression” against Kuwait and Bahrain requires a firm, unified Gulf stance.
“No Gulf state should be left to face these attacks alone,” Gargash wrote on X.
“The security of the Gulf Cooperation Council states is interconnected, their interests are shared, and their destiny is one. This aggression does not target one country in particular, but rather targets us all.”
The comments come after Iran launched what it called retaliatory strikes that damaged Kuwait’s international airport terminal, while Bahrain also reported intercepting three missiles and several drones.
Oman strongly condemned and denounced the attacks targeting Bahrain and Kuwait, reaffirming its firm rejection of all military actions that undermine regional security and stability.
