Muscat-  HE  Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held separate telephone talks on Thursday with Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, and Johann Wadephul, Foreign Minister of Germany, to discuss regional and international developments.

During his call with Lavrov, the two ministers reviewed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on ways to contain tensions and promote political and consensual solutions to ongoing crises. They stressed the importance of strengthening security and stability and preventing further repercussions at both regional and international levels.

In a separate conversation with Wadephul, Sayyid Badr reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between Oman and Germany, exploring ways to further enhance ties across various sectors.

The ministers also discussed current regional and global developments and their impact on security and stability. They underscored the need to intensify diplomatic efforts, support de-escalation initiatives and resolve conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, while reaffirming commitment to international law and the Law of the Sea.
