Seeb – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has successfully apprehended an individual involved in a series of serious criminal acts in the Wilayat of Seeb. The suspect was detained following an investigation into a violent robbery involving the impersonation of a police officer.

According to official reports, the perpetrator gained unauthorised entry into the residence of an expatriate woman by force. While falsely claiming to be a member of the police force, the individual proceeded to steal a mobile phone and various sums of cash from the victim.

Following the arrest, authorities confirmed that the necessary legal measures are being finalised to refer the suspect for prosecution. The Royal Oman Police remains committed to maintaining public safety and addressing crimes involving the exploitation of official identities.
