Muscat-  The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has urged citizens and residents to refrain from sharing personal information or private data with unknown or unauthorised parties.

The Centre advised the public to exercise caution when responding to calls, messages, emails or online requests from unidentified sources, and to verify the identity and legitimacy of the requesting party before disclosing any information.

NCSI also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect their personal data from potential misuse.
