Buraimi – University of Buraimi has issued an urgent cybersecurity alert regarding an ongoing phishing campaign targeting educational institutions.

Cybercriminals are currently sending fraudulent emails that falsely claim recipients must pay tuition fees, update personal information, or verify university accounts through fake websites designed to steal usernames, passwords, and financial data.

To protect the digital environment, the university advises individuals not to click suspicious links, to activate multi-factor authentication, and to verify sender addresses.

Anyone who has interacted with a suspicious link is urged to change their password immediately and contact the IT department.
