Muscat – Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has issued a formal warning regarding the sale and promotion of unlicensed products via websites and social media platforms.

The authority explicitly cautioned against the trade of unlicensed medicines, substances, preparations, and herbal products, noting that such items may be adulterated, counterfeit, or expired.

Engaging in the promotion of these goods constitutes a clear violation of regulations and may result in significant legal accountability for those involved. Individuals are urged to verify all licensing requirements to ensure consumer safety and avoid facing penalties for non-compliance.
