Muscat – Oman Air is expanding its international network with the launch of five new routes this month, increasing its global footprint to 49 destinations as the national carrier continues to strengthen connectivity and support the sultanate’s tourism and economic growth.

The airline will launch direct flights to Singapore and Sochi on July 2, followed by services to Tashkent and its first direct Dubai–Salalah route on July 3. Daily flights to Abu Dhabi will commence on July 9.

The expansion follows a period of sustained network growth over the past 18 months. Since joining the oneworld Alliance in June 2025, Oman Air has introduced scheduled services to Amsterdam, Rome and Taif, in addition to charter flights to Hanoi and Moscow.

The airline said the strategy is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, enhancing international connectivity while supporting tourism, trade and investment.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, described the simultaneous launch of five routes as a milestone for the airline. “The launch of five new routes in a single month marks a defining moment for Oman Air. It reflects not only the pace of our transformation but also our ambition to connect Oman to more of the world than ever before,” he said.

“Every new destination we add not only strengthens our network but, most importantly, brings more people into Oman. We hope our guests enjoy discovering these incredible destinations with us, and they can look forward to many more exciting developments from Oman Air in the months ahead.”

The new services will operate year-round, with four weekly flights to Singapore, two weekly flights to Tashkent, one weekly flight to Sochi, three weekly flights between Dubai and Salalah, and daily flights to Abu Dhabi.

The latest expansion reinforces Oman Air’s strategy of growing its route network to meet evolving travel demand while positioning Muscat as a regional gateway connecting the Middle East with Europe, Asia and beyond.
