France – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has arrived in Paris to commence an official state visit to the French Republic. Upon his arrival at the Élysée Palace, His Majesty was formally received by President Emmanuel Macron.

A grand official reception ceremony took place, featuring the playing of the national anthems of Oman and France. His Majesty inspected the guard of honour and greeted senior members of the French government. The official proceedings were marked by military honours and an escort by the French Republican Guard as the royal motorcade travelled to the palace.
