Muscat – AmCham Oman recently hosted the highly anticipated AmCham Oman Corporate Padel Cup at Padel Addicts, bringing together Oman’s business community for an evening of intense competition, networking, and corporate bragging rights.
The event marked the return of the AmCham Oman padel tournament to the events calendar for the first time since 2024 and attracted strong participation from corporate teams and networking guests from across a wide range of industries.
The tournament featured a 16-team knockout format, with players competing in fast-paced matches throughout the evening. Guests who were not participating on the court enjoyed networking opportunities, refreshments, and a raffle prize draw.
The evening concluded with an intense final match between PwC and Falcon Oilfield Services, with The Falcons securing the championship title with a 6–4 victory.
Rebecca Olson, CEO of AmCham Oman, said: “We were incredibly excited to bring the Corporate Padel Cup back to Muscat after the success of the 2024 tournament. The response this year was fantastic, with all team entries filling within just one day. Events like this create a different kind of networking environment — one that is active, relaxed, and genuinely community-driven, while also bringing out a surprisingly competitive side between our member companies. Based on the response and enthusiasm we’ve seen this year, we will definitely need to add more padel events to the AmCham Oman calendar in the future.”
Sibin John, General Manager of Al Qurum Sports, added: “We were delighted to partner with AmCham Oman for this event and to welcome the business community to Padel Addicts. The level of enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and engagement throughout the evening was outstanding, and the final match was especially exciting to watch. We look forward to supporting more events that combine sport, wellness, and professional networking.”
AmCham Oman extended its appreciation to Al Qurum Sports and Padel Addicts for partnering on the event and hosting the tournament, as well as Grand Millennium Muscat for providing refreshments and Al Muzn for sponsoring beverages for attendees.
The event also featured raffle prizes generously sponsored by InterContinental Muscat, Crowne Plaza Muscat, Top Medical Care Complex and Club Metropolitan, contributing to the engaging and community-focused atmosphere of the evening.
Through initiatives such as the Corporate Padel Cup, AmCham Oman continues to create opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and strengthen business relationships through innovative and engaging event experiences. For more information visit www.amcham.om.
