Nizwa – As part of ongoing efforts to support Omani artisans and strengthen the handicrafts sector, the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) will organise the Harfi 2026 Exhibition in Nizwa on June 23-24.
The two-day event will be held at Grand Mall Nizwa and is expected to bring together around 15 Omani artisans and handicraft enterprises, providing them with a platform to showcase their products, connect with customers and expand market opportunities.
The exhibition will feature a wide range of traditional and contemporary handicraft products, highlighting the creativity and skills of Omani artisans while promoting the preservation of the country’s rich cultural heritage.
In addition to product displays and sales, Harfi 2026 will include live handicraft demonstrations, allowing visitors to observe artisans at work and gain first-hand insight into traditional production techniques and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
The event will also feature an interactive stage programme with educational and entertainment activities for visitors of all ages, as well as a dedicated children’s corner designed to introduce young people to Oman’s handicraft traditions through engaging workshops and hands-on activities.
