USA – United States President Donald Trump has announced that American military forces, including ships and aircraft, will remain stationed in the vicinity of Iran. This decision comes despite the recent establishment of a fragile two-week ceasefire. The President stated that these assets would stay in position until a “real agreement” is successfully reached and fully implemented.

The administration has indicated that the military is currently in a state of high readiness, described as resting and preparing for any necessary future operations. The President warned that if the existing terms are not met, the United States is prepared to resume military actions with greater intensity than previously seen.
Central to the ongoing negotiations is the permanent security of the Strait of Hormuz and the complete cessation of Iran’s nuclear weapon ambitions. While a tentative truce has allowed for the limited reopening of vital shipping lanes, the White House has made it clear that the military buildup will not be scaled back until Washington is satisfied with the final diplomatic outcome.
