Muscat – Ministry of Labour (MoL) has issued an official circular mandating the early disbursement of private sector wages for the month of March 2026. This directive has been released to coincide with the upcoming celebrations of the blessed Eid Al Fitr 1447 AH.

Under the provisions of the Labour Law, specifically Royal Decree No. 53/2023, all subject establishments are required to expedite payment processes. The Ministry has stipulated that all workers’ wages should be settled no later than Wednesday, March 18. This measure aims to ensure that employees have the necessary financial resources to prepare for the religious holiday.
